Driving Tips

Your best option to avoid event congestion completely is to come to Copper Square early. Copper Square offers a wide variety of restaurants, bars, museums, etc. for everyone. Did you know there are close to 30,000 public parking spaces in Copper Square? Even on our busiest nights, there is plenty of parking available.

The best kept secret when coming to Copper Square for an event is to use 7th Avenue. Simply head eastbound on Fillmore, Monroe, Adams or Jefferson streets to reach your destination. It may seem like you are going out of your way, but 7th Avenue is a wide street, is underutilized and is accessible to I-17 and I-10 (to Loop 202 and SR51).

If you don't have assigned parking and are arriving for an event at US Airways Center or Chase Field close to event time, try parking at one of the many surface lots or garages that are a short walk from your venue. You will avoid frustration and delays by not getting caught in congestion immediately surrounding the venue.

When leaving Copper Square, consider taking 3rd or Central avenues northbound to McDowell. Turn right on McDowell and head east to access SR 51 (to Loop 202 and I-10 east). You will avoid most event congestion leaving the area!

Contact a Copper Square Ambassador at 602-495-1500! They can provide the most up-to-date information on parking locations and availability, detailed directions on access to avoid event congestion, and recommendations on dining, happy hour or whatever questions you may need answered. They will even meet you and walk you to your destination.
